Jihua Company's calcium carbide plant in 1999 added two sets of fluidized beds, increasing the total production capacity of methyl mixed monomer from 6,000 tons / year to 20,000 tons / year. The characteristic is that the 10,000-ton production equipment has been put into stable operation, and the technology has made great breakthroughs and sustained rapid development.
In 2002, during the "10th Five-Year Plan" period, China's first set of 50,000-ton units achieved normal production, marking that China's organic silicon monomer production is close to the international advanced level.
In June 2006, during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, Spark launched a production facility for methyl chlorosilane fluidized bed of 100,000 tons/year. It became the largest device in the country that was also self-reliant, has independent intellectual property rights, and had a high level of technology. It is an epoch-making and proud milestone for China's silicone industry.
In 1984, Xinan Chemical Group Company introduced technology from Beijing No.2 Chemical Plant and Jihua Company respectively. After that, it cooperated with Zhonglan Chenguang Chemical Research Institute and other units to build three fluidized beds, with a total capacity of 60,000 tons/year. The plant uses glyphosate as a by-product of methyl chloride as a raw material, which has unique advantages and reflects the characteristics of the circular economy. After entering the 21st century, the factories have continuously improved the process, expansion and construction of the plant. The process technology for producing methylchlorosilane in China has reached a fairly high level except for the scale of a single set of devices. The selectivity of dimethyldichlorosilane has reached 80%, and Xin'an Chemical has reached an average of 82%-87%.
In order to solve the problem of excessive methyl monochlorosilane in the by-products of organosilicon monomers, domestic enterprises have carried out a lot of exploration and practice. Guangzhou Ji Bisheng Company has overcome many difficulties with the help of domestic single enterprises. The process technology for large-scale production of fumed silica from this by-product was developed, and production facilities were successively built in Jiangxi and Jilin.
At the same time, the development of silicone deep processing products such as silicone rubber, silicone oil, silicone resin and silane coupling agent is also very fast, which has placed great demands on the supply of intermediates and greatly promoted the development of the upstream industry. Silicone deep processing enterprises flourished, Zhenjiang Hongda, Shenzhen Tianyu, Sihui Caiyan appeared in the field of high temperature glue; Nanhai Jiamei, Guangzhou Baiyun, Hangzhou Zhijiang, Zhejiang Lingzhi, Nanhai Jianhua appeared in the room temperature glue field; In the processing field, Zhejiang Chuanhua, Shunde Demei, Jiangshan Fusite and other enterprises have appeared. They rely on independent development, or the introduction of domestic universities or research institutes to improve and improve. Companies producing silicone rubber, textile auxiliaries and other silicone products have spread all over the country, reaching hundreds of companies. The two major categories of silicone rubber - heat vulcanized silicone rubber and room temperature matured silicone rubber have exceeded 100,000 tons each year, and the technical level is not low, completely breaking the situation that foreign products occupy most of the domestic market. The export of high temperature rubber and room temperature rubber products has been increasing year by year. The continuous polymerization technology of silicone rubber developed by Zhonglan Chenguang Chemical Research Institute has also been exported to Korea, Poland and other countries.
