During the "Sixth Five-Year Plan" period, the former State Science and Technology Commission and the former Ministry of Chemical Industry arranged a scientific research project for 10,000-ton organic silicon in the former Ministry of Chemical Industry Chenguang Chemical Research Institute and Jihua Research Institute, and conquered a batch of 10,000-ton organic silicon devices. One of the examples is the construction of the required projects, such as the ternary high-efficiency catalyst for direct synthesis. In addition, Jihua Company's calcium carbide plant has also developed its own silicone complete technology. In 1985, a fluidized bed of methylchlorosilane mixed with an annual output of 2,000 tons was put into operation.




In May 1987, during the “Seventh Five-Year Plan” period, the state invested in the construction of a 10,000-ton organic silicon industrial test facility at the Xinghuo Chemical Plant in Jiangxi.


During the “Eighth Five-Year Plan” period, the test equipment began to be commissioned in December 1991. Although the fluidized bed has high production efficiency, there are quite a few technical difficulties, such as the influence of impurities in raw materials, equipment quality and engineering reasons. It has poor exothermic stability with exothermic properties and complicated chemical reactions, such as: short continuous operation time, low content of dimethyldichlorosilane in methylchlorosilane mixed monomer, local overheating, scaling, etc. Good time and bad, driving is not very smooth. The process was opened by December 1994. Despite the completion of the acceptance, the quality of the raw materials, the quality of the equipment and the lack of funds for the perfect process still plagued the smooth driving for a long time.


The production capacity of methyl chlorosilane mixed monomer of Jihua Company's calcium carbide plant in 1995 reached 5,000 tons/year.


The characteristics of this stage are mainly the emergence of thousands of tons and 10,000 tons of production equipment, technically seeking breakthroughs and laying a solid foundation for rapid development.
