3.2.3 in order to prevent cracks in the wall, the pre glued turnover grid cloth must be used. All exposed parts of Extruded Boards, including expansion joints, door and window openings, shall be treated with grid cloth turnover. 70mm wide and 2mm thick polymer mortar shall be applied to the parts to be turned over. During the application process, one end of the mesh cloth 70mm shall be quickly pressed into the polymer bonded mortar with steel plaster until the overflowing polymer bonded mortar covers the five leakage of the mesh cloth. The remaining part shall be wrapped for standby use. The length of the thrown part shall not be less than 100mm around the end of the plate and the part exposed to the plate surface shall be pasted The grid cloth shall be protected by turning over or covering.
3.2.4 the standard sizes of 600mm × 900mm and 600mm × 1200mm are generally adopted when pasting extruded board for external wall insulation, but the real-time cutting can also be carried out according to the site needs, and the incision and layout must be vertical. When pasting, different pasting methods, such as point frame method and strip adhesion method, shall be selected according to the flatness of the base, but the bonding area shall not be less than 40%. When pasting, attention shall be paid to overlapping and pasting at internal and external corners. The width of the small side shall not be more than 200 mm, and no straight seam shall appear at the four corners.
3.2.5 the installation of fixings and fixings is generally carried out 24 hours after the extrusion plate is pasted, and the length is generally the thickness of extrusion plate + 50mm. Holes shall be drilled from the surface to the interior with electric hammers, the width of which shall be determined by the fixture and the depth shall not be less than 60mm. When screwing in the fixings, make sure that the nail head and pressure plate are slightly lower than the plate surface.
3.2.6 after the plate surface is polished, leveled and installed, it is generally required to ensure that the plate surface is completely flat, and further inspection must be carried out. When grinding, it must be noted that the action should be light to avoid unavoidable mistakes due to excessive force, and at the same time, the circular motion should be used for grinding. Grinding and leveling refers to the area with uneven joint on the board surface. After the whole joint is polished to a very flat state, the material debris and floating ash shall be cleaned with a brush until the polished area is restored to a clean state, so as to ensure the overall state of the extruded board is good.
3.2.7 when preparing polymer mortar, the same precautions as the special adhesive shall be used, such as strictly following the preparation instructions, paying attention to the time arrangement, etc.
3.2.8 the application of polymer mortar is divided into two parts: the bottom layer and the surface layer. The bottom layer mortar shall be applied on the surface of the extruded board, and the accurate coating shall ensure the thickness of 2 ~ 2.5mm. After the wrapping grid cloth is pressed into the mortar, the reinforced grid cloth of the door and window opening shall be pressed into the mortar quickly. When pasting the grid cloth, the grid cloth must be tight. Use a trowel to press the grid cloth into the mortar surface from the middle to the surrounding, but not too deep, to ensure that the grid cloth is exposed to the bottom mortar. The specific requirements for grid cloth lapping are: the upper and lower lapping width is not less than 80mm, and the left and right lapping width is not less than 100mm. After the grid cloth is pasted, the upper layer of polymer mortar can be plastered to ensure that the thickness is between 0.5-1mm.
4. Precautions in the construction of extruded board insulation
(1) in order to ensure enough flatness and verticality for the installation of insulation board, it is necessary to make early preparations as much as possible, hang the control line and reference line to reduce the grinding workload.
(2) the gap shall be controlled below 2mm for the laying of insulation board. If it is larger than 2mm, the narrow strip of extruded board shall be used for filling, and glue shall not be applied between the board joints, and the height difference shall not be greater than 1.5mm.
(3) adjust the unevenness and similar phenomenon of the extruded board in time, and take the minimum adjustment measures.
(4) after the adhesive of the extruded board is applied, it must be completely dry, and it cannot be piled together without confirming that it is completely dry, thus affecting the use.
(5) ensure the integrity of the insulation board. All parts of the extruded board shall be arranged and connected closely to avoid cracking.
(6) classify and store the materials of extruded board, and ensure that the quality of extruded board meets the requirements and the maintenance time meets the standards at all times.
(7) during the mixing process of polymer mortar: the electric mixer shall be used to ensure even mixing, without the appearance of powder or caking; the mortar shall be controlled by adding water to ensure the viscosity between 100 and 110; the mortar shall be placed for five minutes after mixing, so as to effectively play its active ingredients; special personnel shall be employed for operation and professional technical training and quality training.
