The difficulties of resin direct restoration of anterior teeth space:
Before learning, the kids first think about a question: do all the anterior teeth need to be repaired?
A: of course not. In children's mixed dentition, there may be no need for intervention and repair
The space between the central incisors is & lt; 2mm, and there is no supernumerary teeth and the lip frenum is too low. Most of the spaces will close automatically in the permanent dentition period, without intervention.
The space between the central incisors & gt; 2mm will continue to the permanent dentition in the future, which can't be closed by itself for life, so early intervention is needed.

Operation of resin direct restoration of anterior teeth space:
1. Observe the gap size
After 1.0mm & lt; gap & lt; 2.0mm was measured, it needs to be repaired with enamel + dentin resin, and only with enamel resin, the brightness is insufficient.
2. making silicon rubber guide plate
The function of silicone rubber guide plate: restore the lingual wall of teeth. When operating in the mouth, the lingual side needs the auxiliary operation of the oral mirror, which is very inconvenient. With the silicone rubber guide plate, the operation time can be shortened
Take the mold and pour the plaster model, carve the tooth shape with wax on the plaster model, and copy the tongue side shape with silicone rubber. After completion, the silicone rubber guide plate shall be simply trimmed, and the area that does not block the operation shall prevail, so as to prepare for the next repair.
Note: the protruding part of the central incisor on the silicone rubber guide plate near the middle adjacent surface needs to be retained, and this "line" is the guarantee to ensure the symmetry of the central line of the anterior teeth.
3. Upper rubber barrier
It is necessary to drill 3-3 holes to restore the rubber barrier between anterior teeth. Floss the rubber barrier into the adjacent space. If the far and middle adjacent surfaces of the mouth 3 are not in close contact, they need to be fixed with wedges. Finally, the edge of the rubber barrier was pressed into the gingival sulcus with a resin filler to ensure sealing.
Note: the resin repair needs to guarantee the bonding, and the bonding needs to guarantee the moisture insulation effect.
4. Adjacent surface polishing:
The silicon rubber wheel is used to polish the adjacent surface. The polishing wheel with sheet shape can penetrate into the adjacent surface and the contact area can also be polished. The tongue side also needs polishing.
5. Acid etching and bonding of tooth surface
The whole etching system was used to etch the tooth surface, including the whole adjacent surface, the lip and lingual side of the marginal ridge near and far middle sides.
After acid etching for 20s, wash and blow dry.
Coating adhesive, coating range: adjacent, near and far edge ridge labiolingual side.
Blow the adhesive evenly and light it.
Note: if water is not dried, it needs to be re etched and bonded.
6. Restore the lingual wall of tooth surface on the silicone rubber guide plate
Warm tip: before operation, remember to wipe the silicone rubber guide plate with alcohol to remove dust.
Clinical tips: before taking the resin, you can use alcohol cotton ball to wipe the resin filler to ensure that the surface of the instrument is smooth and clean, and it is not easy to stick the instrument during operation.
Take the resin at the edge to be repaired, spread and flatten it gently. The side wall of the tongue should be a little thinner, and the blue color of silicone rubber can be seen faintly. Leave enough repair thickness for adjacent surfaces and lip sides.
Wear the silicone rubber guide plate into the entrance, compact and compact, and thoroughly cure. Curing time shall be at least 20s, and the silicone rubber guide plate shall be removed gently. Check the recovery of lingual side wall and whether the adjacent joint fits.
Operation precautions:
The resin shall be flattened and compacted without bubbles and vacuoles. It can be compacted with a small cotton stick.
When laying resin, the two central incisors on the silica gel guide plate shall not be connected with each other in the adjacent space, and the molding sheet will be used in the later operation.
7. Place the bean shaped slices
Advantages of transparent plastic bean flap: thin, good elasticity, rebound after operation can reduce overhang.
The molding piece is placed vertically with the lip side exposed slightly more than the tongue side. The shape is similar to "butterfly wings", forming a point of contact with radians. Choose the right wedge, you can use the blade adjustment, do not need to press too tight.
8. Adjacent stacking:
Stack the enamel resin into the gap between adjacent surfaces and compact. Especially at the gingival end, avoid hanging process. Both ends are compacted and solidified.
After measuring the gap size between 1.0mm and 2.0mm, the brightness of the adjacent surface will be lower if only enamel resin is used, which needs to be adjusted by dentin resin.
In the same way, the dentin resin is pressed into the adjacent space, more careful, and later repair will become simple. Cure with light and press into the other side.
Note: do not press the resin outside the molding piece, otherwise the shoulder collar will be damaged when taking the molding piece.
After filling with resin, the forming sheet of soybean flap rebounded and the generation of overhang was reduced.
9. Restore the lip and tongue surface:
Put one side of the molding sheet to prevent the resin from adhering to the adjacent teeth. Fill up the gap of the turning surface when filling the adjacent surface, use the brush to level and light cure, and observe the shape and protrusion of the marginal ridge.
Similarly, observe the recovery of lingual side, and pay attention to the absence of abduction space.
10. Finishing and polishing
First, trim the general contour with the yellow needle. Pay attention to be gentle. 1. Thin the edge of the resin as much as possible; 2. Remove the resin from the abduction gap at the gingival end to prevent the accumulation of plaque; 3. Remove the redundant flash of the abduction gap at the cutting end. The abduction gap at the cutting end of the two central incisors is in the reverse "V" shape.
