There are three schemes for recovering gold from cyanide leaching pulp.
(1) Active carbon or resin was used as an intermediate enrichment purification step to recover gold. This kind of process is widely used in pulp leaching process.
(2) Solid liquid separation and direct recovery of gold from solution. This kind of process was widely used before the development of the carbon leaching method. The filter or thickener (such as counter current decantation) was used for solid-liquid separation, followed by zinc precipitation to recover gold.
(3) The joint process of the above two methods. This type of process uses a mixed circuit of solid-liquid separation and enrichment technology, such as thickening and activated carbon adsorption. Due to the best characteristics of the two processes, it is often able to obtain a better gold recovery, and low production costs, strong process adaptability.
