In recent years, China's demand for silicone resin has maintained a growth trend, export prices have continued to rise, and there is still a lot of room for growth in some high-end markets. According to ACMI/SAGSI statistics, China's total silicone resin production capacity in 2022 will be approximately 103,100 tons/year, a year-on-year increase of 19.4%, and the growth rate has increased. Silicone resin is mainly used commercially in three major markets: coatings and paints, adhesives, and silicone molding compounds. In the coating and paint markets, silicone resins are mostly sold in solvent form.

Silicone resin has broad application prospects in many fields. In the future, as downstream demand is gradually released, its industry development will further accelerate.
