The difference between:

Silicone is a three-dimensional structure of molecules cross-linked into larger three-dimensional structures, containing trace hydroxyl end, aging resistance than silicone rubber much better. High hardness, good light transmittance, permeability, moisture permeability, oxygen permeability, mechanical properties are generally worse than silicone rubber.
Silicone resin has outstanding weather resistance, is any kind of organic resin is second to none, even under the intense ultraviolet irradiation, silicone resin also resistant to yellowing.
