On Nov. 2, the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP) depositary institution asean secretariat, issued a notice, announcing the brunei, Cambodia, Laos, six asean member countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and China, Japan, New Zealand, Australia and other four asean members have asean secretary-general formally submitted for approval, to reach agreement. According to the agreement, RCEP will enter into force for these ten countries on January 1, 2022.
This marks the beginning of a free trade zone with the world's largest population, largest trade scale and the greatest potential for development.
In this document, primary polysiloxane is on the list of tariffs that will be immediately reduced to zero in the first year of the agreement, a big boost for the silicone import and export industry.
