Silicone hydroxyl emulsion (hydroxyl silicone oil emulsion) : this is the most widely used silicone softener in China in the 1980s. Its relative molecular weight is generally 60,000-80000, the greater the relative molecular weight, the better the softness and smooth feeling. Due to the end of the molecular chain and the sealing end of the fiber, the polymer film can be crosslinked with the reactivity group of the fiber or itself under the action of the crosslinking agent and catalyst to form a certain elasticity, so it has washing resistance and can improve the elasticity of the fabric. According to the different ionic properties of the emulsifier used, the organosiloxyel can be divided into cationic organosiloxyel and anionic organosiloxyel. The organic silicon hydroxyl emulsion exist at the end of the molecular chain of hydroxyl, it is helpful to improve the hydrophilicity and emulsion stability, but as a result of organic silicon hydroxyl emulsion latex particles is hard to control small, uniform, so the stability of the emulsion is difficult to grasp, when the application is easy to appear floating oil phenomenon, make difficult to remove grease stain on fabric to prevent disease. Therefore, the emulsion stability is also an important index to evaluate the quality of silicone hydroxyl emulsion softeners.
