Nonionic softeners are generally polyoxyethylene ester (or ether) of decanoic acid (or alcohol), pentaerythritol or fatty ester of sorbitol. Non-ionic softeners can only play a smoothing role because of their poor absorbability to fibers. However, it can be used with ionic softener, good compatibility with other electrolyte, good stability, and does not make the fabric yellow shortcomings, can be used as a durable soft finishing agent, but also can be used as an important part of synthetic fiber spinning oil. Some of its products can be used as the imitation silk finishing agent of fabric "silky sound".
