The main characteristic of phenyl silicone phenyl silicone is good radiation resistance, radiation resistance for general 10 ~ 15 times, methyl vinyl silicone for 5 ~ 10 times, high phenyl silicone, therefore, can be used in the aerospace industry, nuclear industry and nuclear reactor as a high-energy radiation resistant cable, the sheath, washers, and heat shrinkable tube, etc.

8. The main advantage of silicon nitrogen rubber is that it has excellent thermal stability, does not decompose in 430 ~ 480℃, and some can even withstand the high temperature of more than 500℃. The outstanding weakness of silicon nitrogen rubber is poor hydrolysis stability, which was once considered as no development prospect. Later it was found that the polymer with cyclodisilazane in the main chain had good thermal stability. The elastomer containing cyclodisilazane modified by silane has no weight loss when heated to 425℃ in air, and only 10% weight loss when heated to 570℃, and has good hydrolysis stability.
