Polyorganosiloxane molecules have the following properties:
(1) Good electrical insulation, flame retardant, weather resistance;
(2) The ideal physiological and chemical inert, non-toxic, non-polluting ecological environment;
(3) Low glass transition temperature, good resistance to high and low temperature, little viscosity-temperature rheology;
(4) easy to spread into film due to low surface tension, antifoaming, hydrophobic and lubricity.
In addition, the partial methyl of polydimethylsiloxane is replaced by other organic groups such as polyether group, epoxy group, alcohol hydroxyl group, sulfhydryl group, carboxyl group, phosphate group, amino group or hydrofluorocarbon modified silicone oil, in addition to the above mentioned, but also has the additional properties given by these organic groups.
Therefore, the polyorganosiloxane emulsion used in fabric dipping and rolling finish can not only effectively isolate the fiber, avoid direct contact between the fiber and the fiber, but also reduce the friction coefficient of the fiber surface, so that the fiber is easy to slide and show softness.
