Modified silicone resin coating is a coating with modified silicone resin as film forming material, including the following three kinds.
(1) cold mixing silicone coating refers to the silicone resin and other organic resin cold blending and prepared by the coating. Good miscibility resins include phenolic resins, methacrylic resins, amino resins, alkyd resins, epoxy resins, polyester resins, ethyl fiber resins. When these resins are added, the curing temperature of the coating decreases and the mechanical strength increases.
The copolycondensation type silicone coating refers to the organic silicon intermediate containing active groups and other organic resins and cold mixing of the coating. The adhesion of this kind of coating, solvent resistance, flexibility, color retention are stronger than cold mixing coating, but heat resistance is reduced somewhat.
(3) copolycondensation and cold mixing silicone coating refers to the copolymerization of silicone resin and then add appropriate other resins and cold mixing of the coating. This kind of coating adhesion, color retention, flexibility and copolycondensation type coating is comparable, and can be dry at room temperature, cheap characteristics.
