Fluorine modified or silicon modified polyurethane coating is usually fluorine monomer and acrylate monomer copolymerization, or silicon monomer and acrylate monomer copolymerization, and then cross linked with isocyanate curing agent, usually a two-component system, before the construction needs to be mixed evenly before use. In addition, some anti-graffiti resins or additives are added to realize the anti-graffiti function. After repeated cleaning, the anti-graffiti function will decline. Usually this kind of coating is solvent-based products, in the construction will use more VOC emissions.
 
Elastic polysiloxane coating has better graffiti resistance and durability, but it is also a solvent - based product. But the film is soft, the ability to resist mechanical damage is relatively poor, but also easy to stain dust.
Waterborne two-component anti-graffiti coatings have lower VOC content and are more environmentally friendly. Their film forming materials are usually acrylic polyurethane modified with low surface energy materials. Due to the use of emulsifier in resin synthesis, its anti-graffiti performance is weakened, the pollution of water-based pens can be easily removed, but the pollution of oil-based pens still needs to be wiped with alcohol.
