If the eyes of human beings are the Windows of the soul, they can show the joys and sorrows of the inner world. The camera, then, really captures the essence -- it can use vivid and natural eye movements to let people know its "mood" at once. The eyes are wide, the pupils are shaking, the eyes are full of shock. The technology behind Eyecam is not simple enough to make it so realistic. It is based on human physiology, composed of eyeball, skeletal system, muscle, skin layer and other parts. The skin is a hand-carved shell that maximizes the eye texture and is then covered with a fake silicone skull. As for the final step, human hair is implanted into silicone to make eyebrows and eyelashes.
