Polymethyltrifluoropropyl siloxane (PTFPMS) type fluorosilicone rubber is the earliest developed, the earliest used and the largest amount of fluorosilicone oil resistant rubber, with silicone rubber, fluorine rubber and nitrile butadiene rubber and other rubber incomparable comprehensive performance, can work in the temperature range of -60~200℃ for a long time, and the mechanical properties are similar to silicone rubber. PTFPMS fluorosilicone is not suitable for use in polar solvents or highly corrosive fluids. Fluorosilicone high temperature mixed rubber processing technology is more complex, at present liquid fluorosilicone has a tendency to replace the mixed rubber.
Generally speaking, when the molar number of fluorine-containing chains reaches 10%, the oil resistance begins to appear. When the molar number of fluorine-containing chains reaches more than 30%, the oil resistance is better.
