Silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive generally refers to the pressure-sensitive adhesive with silicone polymer as the main body. The general body is composed of liquid silicone rubber and MQ silicone resin mixed in a certain proportion. Silicone rubber can increase the fluidity of pressure-sensitive adhesive, thus increasing the interfacial adhesive force, and the initial viscosity is strong. However, MQ silicone resin has a great influence on the bonding properties of pressure-sensitive adhesive, because the change of molecular weight of MQ silicone resin makes the viscosity and cohesion strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive change. When the molecular weight of MQ silicone resin is about 3000, the pressure sensitive adhesive has the highest cohesive strength, good holding viscosity, high peel strength and good thixotropy. Compared with the traditional acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive and rubber pressure sensitive adhesive, silicone pressure sensitive adhesive has excellent chemical resistance, water resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, heat degradation, oxidation degradation resistance and other properties. Moreover, it can be bonded with a variety of refractory materials such as untreated polyolefin (BOPP, PET, PE, etc.) fluoroplastics, polyimide and polycarbonate. Silicone pressure sensitive adhesive can be divided into two categories according to the vulcanization system, peroxide vulcanization type and additive molding.
