Since the 1960s, the H-grade heat-resistant solvent-free impregnating paint based on silicone resin has been reported in foreign countries.
The study of silicone impregnated paint in China started late. After the application technology of silicone impregnated paint in insulation industry was introduced into China, some research institutions began to study in this field, including domestic W31-4, 1053 of Chenguang Chemical Research Institute and WBA of Jinling Coating.
