Rapid Development Period (1986 ~ 1999) The application of silane has developed rapidly during this period.

In the early 1990s, WITCO, Wuwu University and Chenguang Institute independently developed direct synthesis of silicon/alcohol, creating a new green synthesis route of silane.
In the mid and late 1990s, overseas silane enterprises began a new round of expansion. From the perspective of market share, the development of green tires with dithioether silane is the fastest.
Using this technology ensures better traction, fuel savings and better durability than ordinary tires.
Silane manufacturers have found that because ethoxylsilane is less toxic and flammable than methoxylsilane, it produces safer products.
However, the ethoxy group reacts more slowly than the methoxy group, so the processing process using ethoxy silane is slower.
However, these inherent properties of the alkoxy group are no longer a problem once the silane is in a hydrolytic environment or reacts with the mineral surface.
