(1) Pin-holes: A condition in which a towel has a pore similar to a puncture formed with a needle in the coating film. It is caused by air bubbles mixed in the wet film and other air bubbles generated, and it can not be leveled before the paint film is dried (cured). Caused.
(2) Wrinkling: Wrinkles in the form of small waves with a regular pattern appear in the paint film, which can be as deep as part or all of the film thickness. The size or density of wrinkles can vary with the film composition and conditions (including temperature, wet film thickness, and air pollution) at the time of film formation.
(3) orange skin: The surface of the paint film has an orange peel-like appearance. This condition is easy to occur when spraying construction (especially the substrate is flat).
(4) Blushing: During the drying process of bright coatings, the paint film sometimes appears milky. This is caused by the condensation of water in the air on the surface of the wet paint film and / or the analysis of one or more out-of-state groups in the paint.
(5) Runs (sogs; curtains): When the paint is applied to a vertical surface, the wet paint film is moved down due to its poor anti-sagging property, improper construction, excessive paint film, etc. The thickness of the lower edge of the shape is not uniform. The coating sag can be caused by the drop of the entire vertical surface, which is like a curtain-like paint film appearance. Also called strip-shaped sag (tear), tear-shaped hang (tear) is a special form of strip-shaped sag.
(6) Ropiness: Line-like streaks appearing on the surface of the wet paint film, and the paint film still exists after the paint film dries. It is a sickness caused by some application methods. For example, during dip coating or flow coating, silk lines appear along the direction of flow; during brush coating, silk lines appear along the direction of the final brush coating film.
(7) Brush mark: A ridge-like streak left on the dry paint film after brushing. This is caused by the paint film not leveling due to too fast drying, too high viscosity, too rough paint brush, improper brushing method and other reasons.
(8) Cissing: Some parts of the paint film have different thickness and uneven appearance. This is because the interfacial tension between the wet paint film and the substrate (or dry paint film) is too large, the wettability is small, the surface treatment of the substrate is not good, oily moisture is contained, and oil and water are mixed into the pipeline during spraying. The phenomenon of thinning of the paint film on the edge of the substrate or no paint film is called shrinkage; the appearance of several small circular hole-like shrinkage on the paint film is called shrinkage; Crawling is an obvious form of shrinkage.
(9) Cratering: The phenomenon of circular pits of various sizes and distributions that remain after the paint film dries. This morbidity is commonly known as pit (dot).
(10) Fat edge: The paint accumulates on the edges of the painted surface and presents a ridge-like ridge, which makes the edge of the dry paint film too thick. This is caused by incorrect application.
