Among the water-based resins used in water-based coating systems, water-based polyurethane resins, especially one-component water-based polyurethane resins, are very important ones and are widely used in water-based coatings, water-based leather finishing agents, and other systems. Generally, the synthesis of waterborne one-component polyurethane resin is obtained by reacting the corresponding polyol with isocyanate to obtain a prepolymer having isocyanate groups, and then extending the chain with a small molecular polyol to finally obtain an aqueous polyurethane dispersion.
Silicone oil with the following structure can be used in the synthesis of water-based polyurethane. Its end group contains alcoholic hydroxyl-CH2OH. It reacts with isocyanate much faster than silicon-hydroxyl Si-OH. It is used in the synthesis of water-based polyurethane to replace a part of it. Conventional polymer polyols can obtain the corresponding silicone-modified water-based polyurethane materials, and give the system silicone some special properties, such as low-temperature flexibility, water resistance, abrasion resistance, surface slip, etc., and its The degree of improvement in performance increases with the increase in the amount of the corresponding silicone polyol.
