Application and selection of leveling agent

For a certain formulation system, the appropriate leveling agent should be selected according to the nature of the formula and the performance expected from the leveling agent.
1. When deciding on an aqueous formulation, we often choose a wetting agent before a leveling agent. Some auxiliaries can act as both wetting agents and leveling agents.
2. Do not use a large amount of wetting agent that strongly reduces the surface tension. It is enough because it will increase the leveling time.
