Basic color ink
Basic color inks are divided into three categories according to different mixing methods: primary color inks, standard inter-color inks, and standard multi-color inks.
① Primary color ink: Refers to the three primary color inks, such as yellow, magenta, and cyan inks, which cannot be mixed from other colors. In theory, the three primary colors of the ink can be mixed in different proportions and ways to formulate a variety of different colors, but in reality, no matter how they are blended, a pure ink color cannot be matched. Therefore, in color printing, four inks of yellow, magenta, cyan, and black are mostly used for overprinting.
In addition, the standards of the four-color inks produced by different countries and manufacturers are not the same. For example, the colors of the offset fast-drying four-color inks in China are designated as medium yellow, magenta, sky blue and black.
② Standard color ink: refers to the color ink formed by the equal mixing of any two primary colors.
③ Standard multi-color ink: refers to the color ink formed by the equal mixing of any two inter-colors or the mixing of three primary colors at different ratios.

2. Dark spot color ink deployment
The use of one and several primary color inks without any diluent for color matching is collectively referred to as the deployment of dark spot color inks. According to the principle of the subtractive color method, the number of primary color inks should be minimized when deploying dark inks. Doing so will reduce the brightness and vividness of the ink. However, some products have special requirements for ink color. For dark brown ink, red ink, yellow ink and a small amount of black ink are generally used.
In addition, bronze, reddish purple, darling green and other mixed colors with different proportions of the three primary colors must be corrected by the complementary color theory. If the green phase is too heavy, a small amount of red ink can be added to correct it. The red phase is too heavy, you can add a small amount of blue ink to correct; the purple taste is too heavy, you can add a small amount of yellow ink to correct; if you want to deepen the concentration of black ink, you can add a small amount of deep red and light blue to adjust. Just as in the production of offset black ink, the principle of adjusting the hue of black ink with pigments such as light blue, light fast red, and phthalocyanine blue is the same. Light blue is often used in spot color inks. It can eliminate the original brown background in black ink and make black ink deeper and thicker.

3.The deployment of light spot inks
The color matching of inks that need to be added to the agent or white ink is collectively called light-colored ink. It is not possible to add a lightening agent to the primary color ink for the deployment of light-color spot color inks. Because the primary color ink has a strong color development ability in the dispersant, and the coloring power of each primary color ink is different, it is easy to cause inaccuracy and waste the original ink . The correct blending method is to gradually add the primary color ink to the diluent, and after the hue reaches the requirements, expand the proportion of ink required for proportioning.
