At this year's IN-COSMETICS exhibition, WACKER presented BELSIL® DM5102E to its industry peers for the first time, which further complements the supply of WACKER silicone oil emulsions. BELSIL® DM5102E is a low viscosity, opalescent liquid. It is a nonionic fine emulsion of high viscosity silicone oil dissolved in water. After emulsification, the silicone active ingredient is easier to process. BELSIL® DM5102E is a product developed by WACKER for shampoos, conditioners and hair masks. It can make normal or damaged hair smooth, supple, easy to comb and more comfortable.
 
The new emulsion has a silicone oil droplet diameter of less than 300 nm, so when used in hair care formulations, the silicone active ingredient can be targeted to the hair, which makes the silicone deposition of BELSIL® DM5102E better and thicker. It is also more effective than a granular silicone oil emulsion.
