High-temperature curing silicone resin has a larger R/Si value, which gives it a stable structure at high temperatures and thus high heat resistance. It is widely used for sealing, bonding, and coating in various harsh environments such as high temperature, high humidity, and high corrosion.
In terms of applications, air-drying silicone resin is commonly used in the manufacture of various heat-resistant paints and insulating varnishes due to its convenient construction and excellent performance. High-temperature curing silicone resin is more often used in situations requiring long-term high-temperature resistance, such as insulation materials for motors and transformers.
In general, air-drying silicone resin and high-temperature curing silicone resin each have unique properties and application scenarios. The choice of which silicone resin to use depends on specific usage requirements and construction conditions.
