IOTA 65803B Methyl phenyl silicone resin for mica tape

Product properties:
The resin has good softness and is miscible with alcohols. It has excellent electrical insulation, arc corona resistance, high and low temperature resistance, water repellency, moisture resistance, and excellent chemical stability. The solvent system is xylene solution, which is miscible with ethers or esters.

Appearance: colorless or light yellow liquid, no mechanical impurities
Viscosity (apply 4-cup, 25℃, s): ≥20
Solid content (%): 50±1
Drying time (160℃, min): ≤5 (mica tape special glue)
Low temperature resistance: ≥-20℃
Heat loss (300℃×h, %): ≤5

Application:
Glass fiber mica tape, mica soft board, glass fiber sleeve, etc.

Notes:
1. The diluent used for silicone resin must not contain water and other substances, otherwise it will affect the substrate bonding and other properties.
2. During the silicone resin processing, flammable and explosive organic solvents such as toluene will evaporate. Pay attention to strengthening ventilation at the operation site, pay attention to fire prevention, strictly cut off the fire source, and operators should pay attention to labor protection.
3. Compounds such as acids, alkalis, salts and amines have the effect of accelerating the curing of silicone resin and affecting its heat resistance and electrical properties.

Packaging and storage and transportation:
1. Plastic or iron drum (200 kg/drum), sealed with a lid. Store in a ventilated, dry place at room temperature 0--35℃, away from heat sources and avoid direct sunlight.
2. This product is DG, transported as flammable. The storage period is 12 months. If the product passes the inspection after the expiration date, it can still be used.
