1. Application of fluorosilicone oil

Trifluoropropyl is introduced on the silicon atom of fluorosilicone oil. In addition to the basic characteristics of methyl silicone oil, it also has excellent oil resistance, solvent resistance, chemical stability, and good lubricity under extreme pressure conditions. It can be used as a lubricant, defoamer, surface treatment agent, release agent and additive and is widely used in cosmetics, petroleum, leather, paper and medicine. In an open system, it can be used in the temperature range of -40-240℃.

2. Used as a surface treatment agent for fabrics, leather, paper, etc. Fluorosilicone oil is often used for waterproof and anti-fouling finishing of fabrics, leather, etc. and has oil repellency and solvent repellency.
3. Used as a coating additive
Fluorosilicone oil coatings have properties such as high temperature resistance, hydrophobicity, oil repellency, solvent resistance, and weather resistance. It is used in antifouling coatings for marine ships, and its performance is better than that of silicone self-polishing coatings, providing a new way to develop non-toxic antifouling coatings for ship bottoms.
4. Used as a defoamer. Since the surface tension of fluorocarbon silicone oil, especially long-chain perfluoroalkyl silicone oil, is lower than that of other silicone oils, the defoamer prepared by it is more effective in reducing the surface tension of various foaming systems, and the effect is better than other silicone oil defoamers. Both homopolymeric and copolymeric fluorocarbon silicone oils can be used as defoamers. Fluorosilicone oil defoamers can be used in petroleum, textile, synthetic rubber and resin industries, coating and ink industries, food processing and fermentation industries, and medical applications.


2. Application of fluorosilicone oil secondary products

Fluorosilicone grease, fluorosilicone paste, fluorocarbon silicone oil can be used as a base oil, and fluorosilicone grease and fluorosilicone paste can be prepared by adding thickeners, stabilizers and modified additives. When trifluoropropyl silicone oil is used as a grease base oil, it can significantly improve the boundary lubricity of steel-steel.
Fluorosilicone grease is suitable for -70～252℃, and can be used for lubrication of high-speed and heavy-load bearings in contact with chemical reagents, lubrication and sealing of valves in contact with corrosive compounds, etc. Fluorosilicone paste can be used as high vacuum silicone paste, and can be used for lubrication and sealing of parts in contact with benzene solvents.
Fluorosilicone release agent Fluorosilicone oil can also be used to prepare release agents. It has good anti-stickiness and lubricity, does not corrode molds, is non-toxic and safe, and can be used in molding, pouring, encapsulation and coating processes. Emulsion or solvent-free products based on fluorosilicone oil-based polymers can be used as paper release agents and have very unique properties.
