Classification by product composition and form
(1) Organosilane and its solution:
The release agent base material is organochlorosilane or organoalkoxysilane. The direct use of organosilane as a release agent has certain limitations. During the film-forming process, organochlorosilane absorbs moisture in the air and is dihydrolyzed, and the hydrogen chloride released is corrosive. Therefore, it is only suitable for corrosion-resistant glass, ceramics, etc. mold.
(2) Silicone oil and its solutions and ointments:
The release agent base material is inert linear high molecular silicone polymer such as methyl silicone oil, methyl phenyl silicone oil and various modified silicone oils. The commonly used silicone oil release agent is a silicone oil solution prepared with silicone oil as the main component and adding organic solvents such as toluene and gasoline.
A semi-solid paste release agent can be made by adding solid components such as silica black, diatomite, and mica powder to silicone oil and kneading it.
(3) Silicone rubber and its solution:
Liquid silicone rubber can be directly used as a release agent, but more applications are to prepare silicone rubber with organic solvents to form a silicone rubber solution, and then mix it with cross-linking agents, catalysts and other additive components, and then apply it on the surface of the mold to form phosphoric silicone rubber. Working film.
(4) Silicone resin and its solution:
The base material of the release agent is cross-linkable and curable silicone polymers such as methyl silicone resin and methylphenyl silicone resin. Usually, the above-mentioned silicone resin is dissolved in organic solvents such as ethanol, toluene, gasoline, etc. to prepare a silicone resin solution. The release agent is applied to the surface of the mold using a spraying or dipping process, and then the silicone resin is cured into a working film by heating or other methods. .
(5) Silicone emulsion:
Use silicone oil or silicone resin as the main component, and then add emulsifier, water, etc. to prepare an emulsion. The water emulsion coated on the surface of the mold forms a working film of release agent after the water evaporates.
