2.silicone oil emulsion defoaming agent
Silicone oil emulsion defoaming agent is generally oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion, that is, water is a continuous phase, silicone oil is a non-continuous phase. It is the silicone oil, emulsifier and thickener premix, and then gradually add water to mix, and finally in the colloid mill repeated grinding until the emulsion meets the requirements.
Silicone oil emulsion defoamer is one of the most widely used and the largest amount of silicone defoamer. It is easy to disperse in water system and can be widely used as antifoaming agent in water phase system. When used, the emulsion can be directly added into the foaming system to obtain good defoaming effect.
