Years of wax formation
Beeswax Amber is a fossil of resinous rosin from coniferous conifer and cypress plants buried underground by geological process. At the moment when the resin flowed out of the trunk but not yet solidified, some insects were stuck by the resin fragrance, and then were wrapped by the new resin, casting the eternity of life in an instant. That's the worper we see today. Amber is of the same origin all over the world. Because of the different mineral composition it seeps into the ground, it produces colorful colors.
Origin of honey wax
Honey wax is mostly found in coal seam, sedimentary clay rock and gravel rock. Many places in China produce honey wax amber, such as Fushun, Jilin, Xinxiang, Henan, Hubei, Shanxi, Fujian, Sichuan, etc. (however, due to the continuous collection and mining in recent years, the mining area is almost exhausted). So amber honey wax is mainly produced in the Baltic coast, Britain, Norway, Denmark, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and other places. Since ancient times, European people loved amber very much, and regarded it as a precious jewel. There are many legends related to amber, which is an important part of European culture.
Classification by color and transparency
Transparent amber, opaque for wax, transparent and opaque interwoven together is known as gold molasses (also known as "gold wrapped honey"). White is called white honey wax (also known as bone Po, Xiangpo), which is the most fragrant variety of amber. Generally, the unpolished white honey wax is used for rubbing, and it is easy to smell the elegant and quiet fragrance. Among them, yellow and white are called white flower wax.
Honey wax is also divided into new wax and old wax
New honey wax: refers to the light yellow honey wax of geese, also known as "new honey" and "new wax"
Old beeswax: deep colored beeswax collectively referred to as "old beeswax", which refers to the meaning of its color "showing old"
Note: it needs to be distinguished from the "old honey wax" of the antique line. It is simply divided by color. The term "old honey wax" used by antique shops generally refers to the wax that has been played for at least fifty or sixty years
Identification of honey wax
At present, most of the honey wax amber imitations in the jewelry market are synthetic plastics or synthetic resins. The relative density of the two materials is greater than that of amber, so using 1:4 salt water to distinguish the true and false is the most simple and effective method; the true amber will float in the salt water, and the false amber will sink. Friction smell method is also an effective identification method: rubbing amber with both hands will give off a light natural pine fragrance. There is also a common imitation called "reconstituted amber", which is made of fine amber chips by pressing at high temperature. This amber is very transparent and has a molasses like structure inside.
Maintenance of honey wax
Honey wax amber is afraid of high temperature exposure, dry environment will make it crack. Because beeswax is an organic gemstone, dehydration is a common problem. Daily maintenance should pay attention to moisturizing at room temperature. It can be put in a sealed bag and dripping water to clean up the air. The hardness of beeswax is very low and brittle. Avoid collision with hard objects, and keep away from nail polish, gasoline, alcohol and other chemical solvents.
The health care function of Beeswax Amber is probably the most magical and comprehensive of organic gemstones. According to compendium of Materia Medica, amber is one of the five treasures of traditional Chinese medicine, which is used to calm the five internal organs, calm the soul, eliminate stasis, cure Gu and poison, break scabs and generate blood. Wearing honey wax on the wrist can relieve rheumatism, and wearing it on the neck can cure throat disease.
The miraculous function of honey wax is one of the seven treasures of Buddhism, which is recorded in many Buddhist static electricity. In particular, the practitioners of Tantric Buddhism often use honey wax as the holding bead for carrying. I don't know whether it is because of taking the word "honey" or because it takes millions of years for amber to form. It is not only like the Buddha's enlightenment but also the long years of experience to realize and agree. Because honey wax amber has the effect of calming the five internal organs and soul, it is a necessary thing for the meditator. The meditator can use the mysterious energy of nature for thousands of years to calm his mind and concentrate his mind to experience the joy of calming the present life in meditation.
More collection of dry goods, industry market, culture and game trend, welcome to add my wechat to learn
Why should I add wechat and give you four more reasons:
1. In the wechat circle of friends, I will often share my own experience with the players and friends, as well as all kinds of cultural and gaming problems you encounter.
2. The circle of friends and the precious processing you rarely see
3. There are a lot of new boutiques in muyuanhong's physical exhibition hall. You can see them in wechat or enjoy the once-a-week seckill.
4. Because there are many old players and many new friends who add my wechat every day, there are more than 200 places left in wechat to add. I can't reply to too many people! If you are interested in Wenwan, you can first add muyuanhong wechat: myhlaozhu200 and remark the relevant Wenwan categories when you add me, for example: Nanhong, lvsong, Hetian jade, Haihuang, red sandalwood, etc., which are preferred!
Finally, I'd like to introduce muyuanhong
