(1) Whiteness and chemical stability of resin

(2) Temperature
PVC resin is a kind of heat sensitive material. Keeping the stability of PVC at processing temperature is the basis of all color matching and whitening work. At the same time, the pigment and whitening agent used are required to have high heat stability. For rutile titanium dioxide, its crystal structure is very stable, and it can maintain the stability of structure and function at the processing temperature of PVC. After special treatment, the heat resistance of Ultramarine is also very good. But for the commonly used fluorescent brighteners, the heat resistance of different types of brighteners is very different, and some of them have sublimation phenomenon, which should be fully considered when coloring, otherwise it will directly affect the color matching effect.
(3) Acidity
During the processing of PVC, hydrogen chloride with strong corrosiveness and acidity is always produced by its decomposition. Among the common coloring and whitening materials, titanium dioxide has the strongest acid and corrosion resistance, followed by fluorescent whitening agent, phthalocyanine blue has the best acid resistance and ultramarine blue is the worst.
(4) Pigment type and PVC formula
When the stable system containing lead is adopted in the formula, the sulfur in sulfur-containing pigments such as ultramarine may react with the lead in the stabilizer to produce black lead sulfide, which will pollute the products and affect the coloring.
