First of all, the carbon tape for printing copper plate paper is mainly wax based, mixed based, and then there is a distinction between imported and domestic. Before printing, first understand the composition and application of the two carbon tapes.
I. All wax based carbon belt
1. The all wax carbon belt has the characteristics of low cost, good printing effect and no scattering in case of water drop. It can be printed on the surface of printing material; suitable for high-speed printing.
2. It is not suitable to print the label that can not be torn or the washing mark; although printed, it can be easily scratched off.
3. It can print general copper label, clothing tag, price label, outer box label, wristband label, certificate label and product label.
II. Mixed base carbon tape
1. Half tree and half wax carbon belt has the characteristics of scratch resistance and wear resistance, but it is a little worse than that of all resin carbon belt. It can be printed into the printing material deeper than the full wax carbon belt. The effect of printing on the torn label is better.
2. It is not suitable to be printed on the unbreakable pet label; although it can be printed clearly, it can only be printed on the label surface because the semi tree and semi wax carbon belt still contains wax; therefore, the effect of scratch resistance is not as good as that of the full resin carbon belt.
3. It can print bright copper plate labels, clothing tags, general copper plate labels, outer box labels, wristband labels and shelf labels.
3、 The resin base has the strongest scratch resistance and has the characteristics of anti pollution. Resin based carbon belt products have excellent wear resistance and scratch resistance to meet your various production environment requirements. Resin based carbon belt can withstand extreme heat or outdoor printing work. It has the characteristics that other resin materials do not have. It has strong adaptability. It can print all kinds of media including copper sheet paper. It can withstand 180 degrees of high temperature and 95% of medical alcohol. It has a strong anti scratch ability, which can meet all kinds of requirements. Applicable media: wash cloth, silencing dragon, synthetic paper, dumb white pet, dumb silver pet, bright white pet.
After understanding the above types of carbon belts, you also need to know whether your machine uses internal carbon or external carbon, whether the print head is flat or side pressing, and whether the big or small core is used.
1) Internal carbon refers to the contact between the ink side and the shaft on the carbon belt, while external carbon refers to the contact between the ink free side and the shaft. Generally, two kinds of carbon tape can be used for barcode printers. Only individual printers can use carbon tape with internal and external carbon.
2) The carbon tape can also be divided into flat type carbon tape and side pressing type carbon tape from the print head of the printer, which are respectively suitable for flat type printer and side pressing type printer. Two kinds of carbon tape can not be mixed, otherwise it will affect the printing effect.
3) The core of carbon tape is divided into 1 inch and 0.5 inch. If the core is not correct, it cannot be installed on the machine for printing!
