On April 3, the steel structure erection of the main unit of Wanhua chemical (Guangdong) water-based resin phase II project constructed by China Chemical Engineering Sixth Construction Co., Ltd. was completed.
The project is located in Gaolan Port national economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, with a total investment of 37.104 million yuan. The second phase of the water-based resin project is the expansion of the first phase of the water-based resin. The water-based resin produced can be used in coating, adhesive and other production fields. After the project is put into operation, it can produce 100000 tons of water-based resin annually, which helps the owner to further improve the strategic layout of South China and promote the products to cover the Pearl River Delta, Southeast Asia and other regions more effectively. China Chemical Engineering No.6 company has undertaken the construction of civil engineering and installation works of the whole project.

The steel structure erected this time has a span of 30 meters from north to south, 90 meters from east to west, and a weight of 2200 tons. The top floor is 21.5 meters high, with four floors in total. The main crane of 350 tons truck crane and the tail of 50 tons truck crane are used for hoisting. Due to the outbreak, the project started nearly a month later than originally planned. In order to speed up the construction progress, China Chemical Engineering No.6 company optimized the construction scheme one week before the arrival of steel structure, tested the safety performance of tools and machines, equipped with beam carriers, well conducted the safety education and training of operators and safety technical disclosure, etc.; after the arrival of steel structure, it will measure the quality of goods with the owner, the supervisor and the civil engineering party, and check the civil engineering foundation to see if it meets the standards; the steel structure will be prefabricated in a batch Check and install the lifeline and cable wind rope one by one to ensure the safety, quality and speed of construction.
As of April 7, China National Chemical Engineering Corporation No.6 has completed 1856 tons of steel structure splicing, steel grid laying, stair frame erection, 31000 dyne welding pipes, 240 sets of equipment installation, and 62% of the total construction tasks, laying a good foundation for the project to be put into production this year.
