This standard is formulated for the implementation of the environmental protection law of the people's Republic of China, the law of the people's Republic of China on the prevention and control of air pollution, the prevention and control of environmental pollution, the improvement of environmental quality, and the promotion of technological progress and sustainable development of the coating, ink and adhesive industries. This standard specifies the emission control requirements, monitoring and supervision management requirements for air pollutants in the coating, ink and adhesive industries. The corresponding national pollutant discharge standards shall be applied to the discharge of water pollutants, odor pollutants and environmental noise from industrial enterprises or production facilities of coatings, inks and adhesives, and the corresponding national solid waste pollution control standards shall be applied to the identification, treatment and disposal of the generated solid waste. This standard is issued for the first time.
