Base treatment:
1. Base surface requirements
Cement mortar plastering, troweling and finishing. The outer wall shall be waterproof. The flatness of the base surface shall meet the requirements of high-level plastering, the internal and external corners shall be square, the lines shall be straight, and there shall be no oil stain and rust. The moisture content of the base surface shall be 8%, and the pH value shall be 9. The installation of external wall railings, window frames, pipes, and the closing of edges are completed.
2. Cleaning and finishing
Remove the base surface laitance, and polish the higher joint and protruding points with a hand-held grinder to avoid too thick putty.
3. Paste mesh
Paste crack resistant fiberglass mesh with dilute waterproof putty and press it with rolling brush. The strength and toughness of crack resistant fiberglass mesh shall be good and contain adhesive, and the lap joint shall not be less than 100mm. The function of glass mesh is to prevent the stress caused by too thick crack of leveling putty and possible crack of buffer plastering layer.
4. Cutting and caulking
Setting out and positioning shall be carried out according to the designed aluminum panel effect grid diagram. The grid joints (generally 10-25 mm wide and 15-20 mm deep) shall be cut with a cutting machine. The mortar in the joints shall be chiseled off, cleaned, and the interface agent shall be brushed. Then the pasteurized flexible cement caulking material shall be filled into a concave arc (the small round bar with the diameter as the joint width shall be formed). The function of the dividing joint is functional (it can prevent large area plastering from cracking, and the joint filler is elastic and waterproof), decorative (concave line imitating the effect of aluminum-plastic plate) and construction block (convenient for leveling and spraying). The grid joint shall have the same radian, be horizontal and vertical, and be controlled and checked by using the plumb bob and pulling the horizontal through line. The size of the blocks shall be appropriate, generally about 1-2.5 square meters for each block, and the facade effect and operation requirements shall be considered.
5. Rough putty leveling
Scrape elastic waterproof coarse putty one by one according to the divided blocks, which are respectively used to scrape a layer of putty vertically and horizontally for the aluminum alloy scraping ruler with the same block length and width. The second layer of putty shall be constructed after the first layer of putty is dry. When scraping in batches, two people should cooperate at the same time and use force evenly. The lines should be straight and the internal and external corners should be square. The function of coarse putty is to level each block, the smoother each block is, the better. At the same time, the thickness of putty shall be controlled as much as possible to prevent cracking. The putty shall have high bonding strength, good water resistance, good construction performance and no winding. The two-component or single component polymer cement putty is preferred.
6. Application of fine putty
A layer of waterproof fine putty shall be scraped vertically and horizontally. After drying, it shall be polished with a grinder or sanding board with fine sandpaper, and the floating ash shall be removed. The function of fine putty is to fill the rough surface, make the base surface more flat and dense, and repair the grid joint in place. 240-360 mesh water sandpaper shall be used for grinding, without sand mark and joint.
7. Polishing putty (also known as oily putty)
Use a very fine polishing putty to scrape one or two thin layers of the base surface. After drying, use a water sandpaper of 600 mesh or more to dip in water and polish carefully. It is required not to show rubbing and sand marks, and the hand touch is smooth and smooth. The function of polishing putty is to form a solid, fine and dense putty layer, just like the putty used for furniture paint, and the paint film is full when spraying after polishing. The polishing putty can prevent the primer from infiltrating into the base layer and save the amount of paint.
