Silicone coatings without components have superior heat resistance: they can withstand temperatures above 650 °C for short periods of time if pigments and fillers are added. The heat resistance of the coating is unmatched if the silicone resin is not organically modified, and the coating can be used in engine parts. However, cooking appliances and other household goods are used in far less demanding environments than engines, making pure silicone unnecessary and, at a higher cost, unlikely to be the preferred base for kitchen paint. Resin properties and uses:
This product has good high and low temperature resistance and moisture resistance, arc corona resistance, weather resistance and chemical stability. This product has high hardness (≥5H), high gloss, good fullness and good yellowing resistance at high temperature after complete curing.
Iota-1062g is widely used in high temperature resistant coatings, temperature resistant non-stick coatings for kitchen appliances and base resins for special coatings.

Appearance: colorless transparent liquid
Solid content: 57 plus or minus 1%
Viscosity: ≥100 seconds (4 cups, 25℃)
Acid value: ≤4 mgKOH/g
Varnish film hardness: ≥5H (Chinese pencil hardness)
Curing mode:
This product adopts high temperature baking curing, recommended: 200℃ 30 minutes; 250℃ for 15 minutes;
280℃ for ten minutes. The dosage of amino resin can be controlled at 10~15% of 1062G, but the amino resin will have slight yellowing at high temperature.
