At present, there are many patents on LED packaging materials, and the research on phenyl packaging materials is the most. Yang Huan, Yang Gang, and Gao Qun obtained phenyl silicone resin by hydrolysis and condensation: phenyltrimethoxysilane, diphenyldimethoxysilane, and vinyltrimethoxysilane were used as raw materials, hydrochloric acid aqueous solution was used as a catalyst, and the temperature was raised. Zhan Xibing et al. used non-hydrolytic sol-gel to prepare a series of transparent titanium hybrid silicone resins. The refractive index of the resin is as high as 1.62, and the obtained products have good light transmission and thermal stability. Our company uses phenyltrimethoxysilane, methylphenyldiethoxysilane and methylvinyldimethoxysilane as raw materials and organic acid as catalyst to synthesize vinylphenyl silicone resin. Phenyl silicone resin and hydrogen-containing silicone resin are cured, the Shore D hardness is 55-75 D, the refractive index is >1.53, and the light transmittance is greater than 99%. It is better used as an LED packaging material.
