Theoretically speaking, epoxy modified silicone resin can achieve comprehensive development, including heat resistance, weather resistance, flexibility, wear resistance and so on. At the same time, the adhesion and corrosion resistance of silicone resin are improved.

1, heat resistance: because the siloxane bond (Si-O-Si) is the skeleton, so the thermal decomposition temperature is relatively high, usually below 250℃ is very stable.


2, water resistance: the arrangement of methyl in the molecular structure makes it hydrophobic, so the water absorption capacity of the film is small, even if the absorption of water will soon be released, and return to the original form.


3, weather resistance: it is difficult to react with the free radical caused by ultraviolet light, and it is not easy to produce oxidation reaction, so the weather resistance is excellent.


4, electrical characteristics: heat resistance is relatively high, under the condition of long-term high temperature exposure, the electrical characteristics are reduced very little, the high frequency with the frequency change is minimal.


5, mechanical strength: due to the small intermolecular gravity, effective cross-linking density is low, so in general (bending, tensile, impact, etc.) mechanical strength is weak.
