Organosilicone resin
Silicone resin is si-O-Si as the main chain, the silicon atom is connected to the organic group of the crosslinked semi-inorganic polymer, is made of polyfunctional groups of organosilane hydrolyzed polycondensation, in the presence of heating or catalyst can be further transformed into a three-dimensional structure of the insoluble and insoluble thermosetting resin. Silicone resin outstanding performance with high and low temperature resistance, weather resistance, chemical resistance and dielectric properties, so the organic silicon resin as basic material made of electrical insulating paint, coating, molding compound, laminated material, mold release agents and other kinds of products in the electronic electric, aerospace, building materials, protection of cultural relics and car inside and outside decoration and so on become more and more popular.


Silicone resin coating
Silicone resin coating is pure silicone resin or modified silicone resin as film forming material, so the structure of silicone resin determines the basic performance of silicone resin coating.
The Si-O bond has a high bond energy (422.5kJ/ Mo1) and is embedded in the resin in a network form by substituting R. The shielding effect of substituent R makes the main chain is not easy to be attacked by impurities, SiO forming a network structure and improve the activation energy of the main chain fracture, so the thermal stability of silicone resin is very excellent, can be used continuously at 180~200℃.
Si-o bond length (1.64A) is long, si-O-Si bond Angle (143°) is large, making it easy to rotate between Si, its molecular chain is generally spiral structure, very soft, the interaction force is very weak, so the surface energy of silicone resin is very low.
The electronegativity of Si element in si-O bond (1.8) and electronegativity between elements (3.5) is very large,Si atoms are easy to be polarized to form Si positive ions (Si-O),Si positive ions can stabilize their connected hydrocarbon groups, so the organic silicone resin is not easy to occur oxidation reaction.
The dissociation energy of si-o bond (460.5kJ/mo1) is higher than that of near-ultraviolet light wave (300~400kJ/mo1) irradiated to the ground, and it is difficult to produce free radicals under ultraviolet light, so the silicone resin has strong weather resistance.
