Silicone modified alkyd resin is a modified alkyd resin obtained by copolycondensation of a small amount of silicone resin and alkyd resin.
The modified alkyd resin is still used as the original alkyd resin for making enamel. It improves the outdoor use value of alkyd resin, which can be used to manufacture durable coatings for outdoor steel structures and appliances.
Resin properties and uses:
This product has good resistance to high and low temperature and moisture resistance and good electrical insulation, arc corona resistance. It also has good weather resistance and chemical stability. This product can be dry at room temperature, with high hardness (≥1H), high luster and good fullness after complete curing.

Iota-1057 is widely used in high temperature resistant coatings (about 250 ~ 550℃).
Indicators:
Appearance: light yellow to colorless transparent liquid, allowing opalescent light, no mechanical impurities
Solid content: 50 plus or minus 1%
Viscosity: 25~65 seconds (4 cups)
Hardness of varnish film after complete curing: ≥1H (Chinese pencil hardness)
Curing mode:
This product can be dry at room temperature.
This product is completely cured by high temperature baking at 200℃ for 40 minutes; 20 minutes at 250℃.
Adding amino resin can shorten the curing time.
Storage:
The storage period of this product is tentatively set at 1 year. This product should be stored in a ventilated, cool, dry place, to prevent direct sunlight; Prevent acid and alkali from serious pollution, and should be isolated from fire sources away from heat sources.
Packing:
This product is packed in 200kg white iron drum and 20kg small white iron drum.
