With the command of the site, the underground pump station of Xiaolangdi Yellow River Diversion Project and the make-up water pump station of Banjianhe reservoir in Shanxi Province were started successively. After the water of the Yellow River in Xiaolangdi Reservoir area was raised to more than 260 meters, it entered Banjianhe reservoir through a 7-km water tunnel.
It is understood that after the completion of Xiaolangdi Yellow River Diversion Project in Shanxi Province, in addition to providing ecological water supply for the Wushui River Basin, it will also provide irrigation water for 635800 mu of farmland, and supplement industrial and urban domestic water for many counties and districts in Yuncheng City.
