With the increase of glass fiber content, the products with higher strength and lighter weight can be obtained. VIP has many advantages over traditional technology:
Advantage one: the product quality is higher. Compared with the traditional manufacturing process, there are very few bubbles in the products. There is no excess resin left in the system, and the content of glass fiber is very high, which can reach 70% or even higher. The product has lighter weight and higher strength.
The second advantage is less resin loss. With VIP process, the amount of resin can be accurately estimated. For hand paste or spray process, it will be difficult to control due to the variability of operators. VIP can minimize the loss of resin, so as to save cost.
The dominant three resins are evenly distributed and less volatile in the process. In the process of making a product, the pressure produced by different parts of vacuum is the same, so the infiltration speed and content of resin to glass fiber tend to be the same. At the same time, there is no brush or roller in the production process, which will not cause the resin splashing or dripping phenomenon, not to mention a large number of odors. It provides a clean and safe production environment for producers and an effective physical and mental health guarantee for production operators.
The fourth advantage is to save the cost and time of mould manufacturing. Only using one side mold can get smooth and flat products on both sides, which can better control the thickness of products. Effectively save the cost and time of mold manufacturing.
Xinyang 1291p-1 is an unsaturated polyester resin of o-benzene type, which has been pre promoted and has low viscosity and medium reactivity. The product has good operability, fast infiltration speed for glass fiber, high strength, good toughness and water resistance after curing.
