Dr. Lorenzo vanini: Master of resin aesthetic restoration, R & D of Italian plastic resin, and author of anterior teeth preservation and restoration.
He graduated from the University of Pavia, Italy in 1980, majoring in medicine and external science. In the past 30 years, he has been devoted to the aesthetic restoration of teeth and the study of composite resin preservation and restoration of anterior teeth. He invented a new method to determine the color of teeth from five latitudes and the technology of layered restoration with composite resin materials. This invention has been widely recognized in the world and has been written into teaching materials by many universities in Europe and America.
A. Direct aesthetic repair of composite resin - Determination of color and preparation
1. First of all, the color and shape of the teeth were analyzed and designed to have a preliminary prediction of the teeth after the restoration. According to Dr. vanini's theory of five latitudes of tooth color (chroma, lightness, opalescence, white enhancement, personalized characteristics), the tooth color was analyzed and recorded on the color registration form.

2. Make wax pattern and back plate.
Use silicone rubber to make the back plate in the mouth or in the technical room, and then repair it after curing. Remove the silicone rubber on the lip side of the tooth to be repaired. Keep the lip side of the remaining teeth in place.

3. Polish teeth with a fluoride free polishing paste.
4. Put on a rubber barrier to keep out moisture.
B. Direct aesthetic repair of composite resin - Preparation of cavity
1. Preparation of class III hole
2. Preparation of class IV hole: for palatal side and adjacent side, prepare 90 degree edge (columnar trocar); for labial side, prepare shallow concave shoulder (spherical trocar). First thick then thin.
