At 11:00 a.m. on April 24, with the instruction from the main control room, the on-site personnel moved quickly, and the SG-8 PVC resin produced by the 70m3 polymerizer of Huatai company was put into production for the first time.

It is understood that the higher the type of resin, the greater the hardness of the product, SG-8 type PVC resin can be widely used in pipe fittings, sheets, containers, etc. Chen Feng, a technician in the polymerization workshop, said that the biggest difficulty of the transformation production is the determination of SG-8 resin formula. Because there is no experience of the same type of kettle, we can only budget and determine the final formula according to the current formula for many times.
In the face of this transformation production task, the leader of the polymerization workshop led the technical team to draw lessons from the experience of SG-5 resin production, formulate the implementation plan, carefully analyze every detail of production, and ensure the smooth progress of resin transformation production. Up to now, after 48 hours of repeated debugging and cooperation by the technical team, the SG-8 PVC resin has been successfully produced in batch.
During this period, leaders of Huatai company held meetings for many times, formulated the promotion plan based on the actual situation of the equipment, further arranged the deployment according to the nodes, and provided important parameter guarantee for the production of SG-8 PVC resin.
