Many coating processes on the market need the film to have good tenacity, which not only requires high hardness and wear resistance, but also takes into account flexibility to meet various bending tests, which requires high formulation design. In general, resins with six or higher functions are used to provide hardness and wear resistance, while two functional resins or single functional monomers are used to reduce shrinkage and adjust toughness. However, the high-level functional resin is usually brittle, and the low-level functional resin or monomer tends to cure slowly, which has a great influence on the hardness and wear resistance, so it is difficult to find a balance point in actual matching. For this kind of application, tri functional polyurethane acrylate is a better choice. Through the structural design, better comprehensive physical properties can be obtained, and the adjustment space of the formula is larger.

Fsp8060 is a three functional polyurethane acrylate recently launched by runao Chemical Co., Ltd. It is specially developed for the application of vacuum electroplate finish and plastic finishing. We have made a detailed test on the resin. The test formula uses the resin with a small amount of monomers and an appropriate amount of initiators, mainly to investigate the adhesion, curing speed, boiling resistance, hardness, wear resistance, flexibility and apparent properties of the resin. It can be concluded that fsp8060 has the following characteristics.
Curing rate
Compared with the high-level functional resin, fsp8060 also has high reactivity. In the actual measurement, it can be dried at 200mj / cm2 energy, with high double bond conversion rate and good crosslinking network density. The resin is recommended to be used as the main resin in the formula, which can improve the overall curing speed of the system and meet the construction requirements of various production lines.
Toughness
Fsp8060 is a trifunctional resin. The hardness of pencil on PC substrate is HB @ 1kgf. With a small amount of hexafunctional resin or high-level monomer, the hardness can reach h @ 1kgf. The RCA wear resistance of single resin is about 300 times, which can meet the wear resistance requirements of most applications. Coating sample oil on PC film, bending test after curing, after 180 ° folding, the film will not crack, with good toughness. Fsp8060 can be combined with some 9 / 10 functional resins, which can reduce the shrinkage and have little effect on the wear resistance, so that the film can obtain excellent toughness.
adhesion
Fsp8060 not only has excellent adhesion to conventional plastic substrate such as PC and PMMA, but also can achieve 100% adhesion to coating (aluminizing, indium tin plating) or magnesium aluminum alloy, which is very suitable for the main resin of vacuum electroplate finish. At the same time, the resin has good adhesion to the single / two-component silver base paint, and does not bite the primer to cause the silver powder to blacken. So we also recommend that the resin be applied to all kinds of color lacquer cover.
Boiling resistance
The application of plastic coating and vacuum plating has the requirement of water boiling resistance. We test the fsp8060 coating in boiling water for one hour. After the test, the adhesion of fsp8060 to PC and coating has not decreased, and there is no pitting, blistering, wrinkling, whitening and other phenomena. On the one hand, because the resin has some hydrophobic structure, on the other hand, the lower volume shrinkage also makes it maintain better adhesion after boiling.
Pigment wettability
Fsp8060 has some special polar groups. It has excellent wettability for pigments or inorganic powders, good color development and easy extinction. The coating has no apparent defects of mass color or blooming. Therefore, the resin is very suitable for additive or extinction system.
