APPLICATIONS
• Blend with up to 50% in organic resins used as binders for finishes to improve gloss and color retention at temperatures up to 430°C (806°F).
• Paints containing acrylic resins cold blended with IOTA 6840 Resin have proved highly suitable for use as touch up paints.
• Aluminum coatings containing 10% to 30% of the resin will resist 538°C (1000°F) over short periods.
• Silicone ceramic coatings based on IOTA 6840 Resin containing ceramic frits are serviceable up to 750°C (1382°F).

HOW TO USE
IOTA 6840 Resin can be thinned with most ketones, esters and chlorinated solvents, with butanol, ethyl hexanol and glycol ethers and with hydrocarbon solvents having kauributanol values greater than 50.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
When stored at 25°Cin the original unopened container, this product has a usable life of 24 months from the date of production.
