IOTA 6863 Waterborne Silicone Resin Emulsion


Product describe:

IOTA 6863 is a high-performance water-based resin with excellent high-temperature resistance, electrical insulation, and adhesion. This emulsion can dry at room temperature, be cured with low-temperature baking (180–200°C for 20 minutes), or used as a two-component system with a curing agent. Compared to traditional oil-based or powder resins, IOTA 6863 shows superior adhesion, gloss, and fullness, making it suitable for high-temperature anticorrosion equipment, barbecue ovens, stoves, heating plates, mufflers, and H-class insulated electrical equipment, as well as various high-temperature anticorrosion and electrical insulation applications. 


Product features:

a)     Excellent high-temperature performance: can withstand 200–800°C for long periods; 

b)     Outstanding electrical properties: suitable for H-class insulation systems, resistant to arc and voltage; 

c)     Strong adhesion: better adhesion than conventional oil-based and powder resins, suitable for multiple substrates; 

d)     Full gloss: the coating film appears bright and full, with strong decorative effect; 

e)     Flexible curing methods: can dry at room temperature, be low-temperature baked, or used as a two-component system with a curing agent; 

f)      Environmentally friendly water-based system: low VOC, compliant with environmental regulations; 

g)     Small particle size (≤500nm): good penetration, uniform and dense film formation.

Curing conditions:

Room temperature drying, or 180–200°C baking for 20 minutes, or as a two-component system with a matching curing agent. 


Applications:

a)     High-temperature anticorrosion coatings: suitable for surfaces of barbecue ovens, stoves, heating plates, mufflers, and other high-temperature equipment; 

b)     Electrical insulation coatings: for H-class insulated motors, electrical appliances, transformers, and other high-temperature electrical equipment; 

c)     Industrial heat-resistant coatings: can be used as the main film-forming material for water-based high-temperature coatings; 

d)     Suitable for various substrates: good adhesion on metal, ceramic, glass, and other surfaces; 

e)     Good color adjustability: can be formulated in various colors to meet different color requirements.


Packaging, storage and transportation

a)     Packaging: 25/200 kgs drums or customized according to customer requirements.

b)     Storage: Store in a cool, dry place at 5–35°C, sealed, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperatures.

c)     Transportation: Handled as non-hazardous goods; load and unload carefully to prevent packaging damage.

d)     Shelf life: 12 months from the date of production; can still be used if it passes inspection after expiration.


Note:

a)     After opening, be careful to avoid contamination; it is recommended to use it up as soon as possible;

b)     Avoid contact with acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and amines to prevent gelation or performance degradation;

c)     Stir thoroughly before use; slight sedimentation is normal; It is recommended to use in environments between 10–35°C and avoid low temperatures or high humidity during application;

d)     If color adjustment or blending with other emulsions is needed, a small test should be conducted first to confirm compatibility.
