Silicone oil
(1) the classification of silicone oil: silicone oil is a kind of polysiloxane liquid oil with a variety of different viscosity, non-toxic, no smell, no corrosion, not easy to burn. Among them, methyl silicone oil is the most important variety of silicone oil, by changing the degree of polymerization of polysiloxane and organic group type, or polysiloxane and other organic copolymerization, can be made with waterproof, adhesion resistance, demounding, defoaming and other basic characteristics of silicone oil. There are many kinds of silicone oil, which can be roughly divided into linear silicone oil and modified silicone oil.
(2) silicone oil products and applications: silicone oil has many special properties, such as small temperature viscosity coefficient, high and low temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, high flash point, small volatilization, good insulation, small surface tension, no corrosion of metal, non-toxic, etc. Because of these characteristics, silicone oil is used in many aspects and has excellent results. In all kinds of silicone oil, methyl silicone oil is the most widely used, is the most important variety of silicone oil, followed by methyl phenyl silicone oil. Various functional silicone oils and modified silicone oils are mainly used for special purposes.
5. Silicone
(1) classification of silicone resin: silicone resin is silicon - oxygen - silicon as the main chain, silicon atoms are connected with organic base crosslinked semi-inorganic polymer. It is with the appearance of organic silicon monomer produced by direct method, in the middle of 1943, six months earlier than silicone oil, silicone rubber appeared a kind of varieties. Silicone oil is made from polyfunctional organosilane by hydrolysis and condensation, which can be further transformed into a three-dimensional structure of insoluble and unfused thermosetting resin in the presence of heating or catalyst.
(2) the application of silicone resin: silicone resin has outstanding weatherability, which is beyond the reach of any kind of organic resin. Even under the strong ultraviolet radiation, silicone resin is also resistant to yellowing. Silicone also has excellent dielectric properties, stable in a wide range of temperature, humidity and frequency, and oxidation resistance, arc resistance, radiation resistance, waterproof, smoke, mold and other characteristics.
