1, high temperature resistance
General synthetic resin paint heat resistance temperature is about 150℃ below, and silicone paint can be used for a long time at 200℃. If high temperature pigment is added, heat resistance can reach 400℃ ~ 500℃, special can also reach 800℃ ~ 900℃. Therefore, it is suitable for coating high-temperature resistant parts.
2, electrical performance and hydrophobicity number
Silicone paint has a layer of non-polar organic genes and molecular symmetry, which is the basic reason for its good electrical insulation and hydrophobicity. In terms of insulation, it not only has high insulation resistance, but also has excellent performance in the breakdown range and high voltage arc spark resistance. Therefore, it can be used for impregnating motors and components with high insulation performance requirements to improve the insulation grade of insulating components.
3, the surface activity is large, the tension is small
Since polysiloxane is a symmetric molecule and its substituents are non-polar organic groups, the overall formula is non-polar. The intermolecular force is small, the cohesive force of the molecule itself is small, so the surface tension is small. When it is dispersed in the surface of the medium with large surface tension, it can separate the medium. And because the molecular force between it and the medium is small, it can reduce the surface tension of the medium, so that it is not easy to form bubbles. This is the reason why silicone oil can be used in the production of paint for defoaming, therefore, it can be used as a defoaming agent and leveling agent in the paint to prevent the film from luminescence and pitting, and the dosage is 0.2% ~ 0.3%.
