2.1 Phenyl silicone resin and phenyl silicone oil

Phenyl vinyl silicone resin as the main body of phenyl high folding silica gel, its properties directly affect the mechanical properties, dielectric properties, heat resistance of silica gel. The phenyl vinyl silicone oil is mainly used as a diluent to adjust the viscosity of the glue, and can regulate the mechanical properties of silica gel.
Phenyl vinyl silicone oil and silicone resins having reactive functional groups of vinyl at either end or in the middle of the structure, the most common are terminated vinyl polydiphenyl silicone oil and terminated vinyl polymethylphenyl silicone resins. The biggest difference between silicone oil and silicone resin lies in its chemical structure. Silicone oil is a linear structure, while silicone resin has cross-links in the molecular chain.

2.2 Phenyl hydrogen crosslinking agent

Phenyl containing hydrogen crosslinking agent, generally divided into phenyl containing hydrogen silicone oil and phenyl containing hydrogen silicone resin. Usually, the polysiloxane that remains liquid at room temperature and contains Si-H functional groups in the molecular chain is called hydrogen-containing silicone oil, and the thermosetting polysiloxane that contains multiple Si-H functional groups and has a highly cross-linked structure is called hydrogen-containing silicone resin.
The viscosifiers, catalysts and inhibitors used in phenyl high folding silica gel are similar to methyl low folding silica gel and will not be described here.
